The " After Dark" band is tight ! Their performance was outstanding .
As for the topic of discussion . . . . . well there was a little too much comedy from Sheryl Underwood and not enough substance . All -in-all , the show was good ; I'm looking forward to next week . |

Michael Baisden,
What you and your entire crew have created is nothing short of sensational and for many reasons! You merge together popular culture, hot topics, renown classic soul artists (Betty Wright gave an awesome performance) and contemporary artists (Tank was really great...didn't know he was that talented!), a live house band, we haven't seen the likes of in a very long time, comedy, talent showcase, "old school" and "new school," under the musical direction of one of our most beloved and legendary artists, Morris Day and a great live audience, nice set and interesting segments. This is powerful in so many ways, mainly because there isn't a format like this out there. We need as much positive black media as possible! I'm really excited to see this forward move, especially, while Tyler Perry is doing his thing, Will Smith and Duane Martin and others with Momentum Entertainment, Ebony, Vibe, WVON Radio, Cathy Hughes with TV One and all the other independent and mainstream media outlets representing, I applaud you all!!! You have encouraged me greatly, from your first book, given to me by my sister who working at a FedEx Business Center and you walked in and gave her a couple of books, free of charge to share. I've watched you grow and and it reinforced in me the word... "autonomy"...whether self-publishing or creating anything, hold onto the reigns and dare to be different and stay true to yourself! And, also a quote I say a lot these days... "people are either a help or a hinderance!" Best Wishes, Alicia |

Please Mike no more Saappyhri. When watching your show we are trying to gain more information and look at things from other peoples point of view, not watch Miss Ghetto Fab

I LOVE Sapphyri! She's a true representation of MANY(not all) black women. I loved her on "Charm School Girls" and i'll be sure to watch tonight's episode!

Saapphyri, however you spell her name, was exactly the representation we do not want our African American women to be portrayed as--Ghetto! She and her style did not appeal to me at all. And to think I was excited for her when she won Charm School. However, it did not help her at all. Even Sheryl, and we all know how Sheryl is, was acting more ladylike than Saapphyri. I hope we keep her out of the spotlight as much as possible. On the other hand, the show was great. I enjoy Mike's topics.
