Wow, this is also a crazy story!

1. Who ever heard of McD's burgers being made from scratch?--I thought those little puppies came frozen and the employees tossed them on the grill and proceeded to cook them until they dried up like hockey pucks...lol

2. If the manager knew the burgers were too salty, why were they allowed to be served?

3. The police have waaaaaay too much power and authority. Some of these "crooks" should never be allowed to put on a uniform or a badge!

It was the mangers fault....and I never knew they made the burgers from scratch. Police are the biggest abusers of alcohol, the salt should have been okay to absorb the liquor

Where do you think these people are getting this stuff. Inside training. Take a look at this article I “accidentally” came across yesterday while looking for something else on-line. Know when you read the article you as well as I know I didn’t not come across this article by accident. Our Lord & Savior made sure I read this article to make everyone aware of what is going on. Take a look for yourself:

IMMIGRATION RIGHTS GROUPS CLAIM POLICE CAPTAIN KIDNAPPED GUEST WORKERS
Just got this press release over the transom. These are pretty serious allegations. I'm not a believer in trying people via the Internet, but the charges certainly should be investigated to see if there is anything to them. I also know that MIRA and ACLU are groups that are serious and credible and not likely to trump up baseless allegations and I would imagine you'll be hearing more about this story.

This would be th counterpoint to Talk radio, the better bits of which do know what "svengali" is. Limbaugh and paul harvey both occaionally refer to themselves as such.

Yeah. It seems that in some parts of the US, foreign workers get the same treatment as those in Libya.

Wow -- this is definitely an abuse of power. He claims he got sick but he ate the burger. Once he tasted it and realized it was too salty he should have just given it back. The manager also should have dumped the meat that the salt spilled into not because of the cop but just because the employee told her she put too much salt in it. I can't believe this is going to a jury but certainly glad that she chose a jury over the judge. This cop is just being vindictive. Maybe he hasn't met his "quota" for the month.

"Why didn't the cop just throw the burger away? I mean, don't cops get food for free most times? So if that was the case, he couldn't have been mad that he paid for a salty burger- especially if it was free."

I heard this story and told myself that the cop is just being an A-hole. Honestly. The young lady who admitted to spilling the salt on the burger said that she ate some of the salted meat for lunch- and it never made her sick at all. I think that officer was just looking for an excuse to charge someone for anything. Even over a salty burger.

Me, I like salty burgers. They make me drink MORE water. :D

This is just absolutely ridiculous!!! Why???? This cop should have been arrested or lose his badge for abusing police authority. This is why it is becoming increasingly harder to trust officers who are supposed to be in place to "serve" and "protect." There are too many of them who are committing these sort of stupid acts. Some of them are the most violent in our society. I was watching CNN last night which showed a cop using a taser gun on this poor woman over and over and over. She didn't even pose a real threat to him. He seemed like he was getting off on the whole thing of using that weapon. I'm almost scared of cops and I don't pull over on dark streets and highways for them. I drive to the nearest most well lit police station or huge store with witnesses and I call someone on my cell phone to come out and meet me, hopefully with their cell cam ready. I mean, don't they do psychological evaluations on these people before they let them wear these uniforms and badges, or moreover, give them guns????

Well, I for one do NOT like salty burgers for two reasons: (1) They taste NASTY!! (2) I have hypertension (high blood pressure)!! Seasoned salt, maybe a little to give the meat some kick, but IONIZED, WHITE SALT on a burger, no way!!! I haven't heard the story and I don't know what this cop did afterwards, but I TOTALLY agree with the opinoin that salty burgers are NASTY-AS-HELL!!!
